Hamilton Juniors Winter Tournament

Hamilton Juniors played against Halton Juniors in a two match tournament and won the second match by 6 wickets and 9 balls to spare. Halton played first and scored 126 in 15 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. This came with well constructed 33 runs from Kanish Satawalekar and a good 18 runs support from Rishabh Patel. Haadi Bhukari started the trigger of wickets bowling Kushal out for 2 runs. Haadi took two more wickets in the match, both batters are bowled and won the best bowler of the match award. Eka Vivek supported Haadi by taking two wickets in his two over spell. Jai Singh, Reyansh Mishra and Yugveer Chugh chipped with a wicket each.

Chasing 127 in 15 overs, Hamilton lost two quick wickets. However, Jai Singh and Musa Ali put up an wonderful partnership of 65 runs, in which Jai contributed 36 and Musa 28 runs. Both deservingly won MVP and best batter awards respectively. Haadi Bukhari 9* runs, Mirdhani Saravanakumar 7* runs and Eka 4 runs edged Hamilton with a win.

This win came after the loss Hamilton faced in the first match which made this win even more sweeter.

With a deep-rooted history documented in the archives of the Hamilton Public Library, HCC has been a cornerstone of the community, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for cricket enthusiasts of all ages.

  • Inclusivity: Our membership is open to everyone, regardless of skill level. From complete beginners to seasoned players, all are welcome.
  • Coaching: Our ICC certified coaching staff ensures that both juniors and adults receive high-quality instruction. We focus on personal development and skills improvement.
  • Divisions: We have five teams competing in the Hamilton District Cricket League, spanning various divisions including Super Elite, Elite, and Premier. We also have two teams in T25 and T20 competitions.
  • Soft Ball Options: For those who prefer a lighter take on the sport, we organize games for tennis ball and tape ball cricket.

Practice Sessions and Matches

As a member of HCC, you can participate in regular practice sessions and matches:

Junior Practices

  • When: Tuesdays and Fridays, 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM during the summer.
  • Where: Confederation Park cricket field.
  • Supervision: All practices are supervised by qualified ICC certified coaching staff.

Adult Practices

  • When: Thursdays at the same time as juniors.
  • Location: Confederation Park.

Game Day

We play matches every weekend, with home games hosted at:

  • Confederation Park
  • Mohawk Sports Park

Our away games extend to nearby municipalities, including:

  • Oakville
  • Burlington
  • Brantford
  • Cambridge
  • Kitchener Waterloo
  • Niagara Falls
