The Hamilton Cricket Club (HCC) is an amateur cricket club based in Hamilton Ontario Canada. The club was formed in 1847 and is one of the oldest organization in the city of Hamilton. The history of the club is well documented and can be found in the archives of the Hamilton public library.
The club aims to provide a safe friendly environment for the enjoyment of cricket. Membership is open to all and to all skill level. We provide coaching to junior cricketers, as well as adult players, male and female. We have five teams representing the club in the Hamilton District Cricket league. Our teams are in the Super elite, elite and Premier division. The club also has two team in T25 and T20 competition. We recognize that some players prefer soft ball cricket so we organize a number of games for members who enjoy tennis ball and tape ball cricket.
You can find us at the Confederation Park cricket field conducting junior practice on Tuesdays and Fridays in the summer 5:30PM to 8:30PM. All junior practices are supervised by ICC certified coaching staff. Our adults practice at the same location on Thursday evenings. We play games on the weekend at Confederation Park and Mohawk Sports Park. Our away games are played in other municipalities such as Oakville, Burlington, Brantford, Cambridge, Kitchener Waterloo and Niagara falls. We also have room for more members, Join us.
